Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your DailyWit account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open DailyWit and go to Account.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account and personal data are permanently erased.

Option 2 — By email

1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account.”
2. We verify the request and delete your account and personal data.

What gets deleted

We permanently erase your personal and activity data — your email, date of birth, username, and in-app learning history (cards seen, quiz answers, saved items, and your learning activity).

What we may keep, and why

We may retain limited financial records where the law requires them (with the link to you removed) and a minimal suppression record so we can honor your choices and avoid re-contacting you. We may also keep the minimum information needed to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or prevent fraud or abuse — and only for as long as that specific purpose requires. Anonymous, non-identifying aggregates may remain. This mirrors the retention section of our Privacy Policy.
